本屆國立清華大學藝術與設計學系設計組21級畢業展覽主題為「質形力」。本系的特色為將藝術感知能力、材質運用能力及造形設計能力，透過工藝作為媒介，在當中施展這三項能力且相互催化。而工藝在設計及製作過程上，所執行的即為「材質與造形」的相互搭配及應用，並將兩者之化合物注入到設計物上。
「質形力」在命名上，「質」取自質感、材質、特質，「形」字取自造形、塑形、形態，並取「執行」之雙關意涵。在這次展覽作品當中，可以看見學生們執行彼此的「質形力」。
The 2021 graduate exhibition of the Department of Arts and Design, Design workshop at National Tsing Hua University is called Texformation. Our department focuses on artistic perceptions, texture usage, and design abilities, it is our goal to apply craft as a catalyst to enable these three main aspects to mutually react with one another. As for the design and making process, we attempt to apply and integrate various types of “texture” and “form” in craft and infuse the two into our design objects.
The name Texformation combines the words “texture” and “form,” which are the essence for our created work, this includes materiality, unique traits, shaping, and configuration. In this exhibition, you will be able to see how the students’ work comes to life through the unique process of Texformation.
