火神使者的祈福 Palamal

Palamal巴拉瑪火神祭為撒奇萊雅族後人對祖先的追思祭典，象徵著撒奇萊雅族的重生, 作品以竹編為載體、燈光象徵火焰意念，探討加禮宛事件的空間與歷史記憶。

刺竹是花蓮國福里美崙溪一帶的工藝材料，也是撒奇萊雅族的部落特色。作品以圓體竹編描寫一百四十年前撒奇萊雅族的原部落，一圈圈庇蔭著族人，龐大的量體就如同當年強盛勇猛的撒奇萊雅族，金屬邊框以環狀的燈帶模擬祭典中的燃燒火圈儀式，五色燈光象徵五色使者的「薪傳、智慧、除穢、隱身、感謝」等祝福，使族人在「圓」與「火」裡與祖先相見，牽起血脈與靈魂的聯繫，寄託最真摯的祝福。

 

"Palamal"  symbolized  the rebirth of the Sakizaya tribe. It uses bamboo weaving as a carrier and lights as the idea to engrave the space and historical memory of the "Takubuwa a kawaw" event. The people of the tribe meet their ancestors in the "circle" and "fire", linking blood and soul, and entrusting the most sincere blessings.
